This policy explains how ChainSentry processes information when you use our iOS app and website.

The ChainSentry website does not use advertising or analytics trackers. It stores only your language preference locally in your browser.

1. Scope and operator

This Privacy Policy applies to the ChainSentry iOS application, the website at chainsentry.app, and related support services (together, the “Service”). The Service is operated under the ChainSentry name (“ChainSentry,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). For privacy questions, contact [email protected].

2. Information we process

Information you provide

  • Account information: username, confirmation that you are at least 18, language selection, and account settings.
  • Security information: passwords and security PINs are processed as cryptographic hashes; the recovery code is stored as a digest rather than readable text.
  • Feature input: saved assets, alert preferences, token contract or mint addresses submitted for checks, and feedback you choose to send.
  • Referral and promotional information, when that feature is available: referral code, referring-account relationship, eligibility and activity dates, reward status, and a public blockchain receiving address that you choose to bind. Public addresses and transfers on public blockchains are visible to the public. We never request your private key or seed phrase.
  • Support communications: messages, screenshots, and other details you include when contacting us.

Information processed automatically

  • Device and app data: a generated installation identifier stored by the server in hashed form, device model, operating-system version, app version, language, time zone, Apple DeviceCheck status, and notification permission state.
  • Push-notification data: an Apple Push Notification service (APNs) token and the alert preferences needed to deliver notifications.
  • Technical logs: request date and time, IP address, user agent, API response status, security events, and diagnostic records created by our hosting infrastructure.

We do not use the Apple advertising identifier (IDFA), and we do not collect private keys or seed phrases.

3. How we use information

We process information to provide guest browsing and account features; save watchlists and alert rules; deliver push notifications; perform token checks; operate any disclosed referral promotion; prevent duplicate, automated, or abusive registrations; protect accounts and infrastructure; localize the Service; respond to support requests; diagnose failures; maintain records required by law; and improve reliability.

Depending on the law that applies to you, these activities rely on performance of the Service you request, your consent, our legitimate interests in security and reliable operation, or compliance with legal obligations.

4. Service providers and data sources

We may use service providers only as needed to operate the Service:

  • Apple: APNs for notifications and DeviceCheck for anti-abuse checks.
  • Hosting and infrastructure providers: server hosting, content delivery, backups, security, and operational logging.
  • GoPlus or another security-data provider: a token contract or mint address may be sent for automated risk indicators. We aim not to attach your ChainSentry username to that request.
  • QuickNode, Binance, CoinGecko, and similar market-data sources: these sources provide blockchain or market information to our server and do not need your App account identifier under our current design.

We may disclose information where required by law, to protect users or the Service, or as part of a business reorganization subject to appropriate safeguards. We do not sell personal information and do not share it for cross-company behavioral advertising.

5. External links and public blockchains

Curated briefs may link to third-party websites. When you leave ChainSentry, the third party’s terms and privacy policy apply. If you voluntarily provide a public blockchain address for an available feature, activity involving that address may be permanently visible on a public ledger. Do not provide a private key or seed phrase to ChainSentry or to anyone claiming to represent us.

6. Retention and account deletion

We retain account and feature data while your account is active and for only as long afterward as reasonably needed for security, dispute resolution, legal compliance, and fraud prevention. Operational logs and backups expire under our retention schedules unless a longer period is required for a security incident or by law.

You can request permanent account deletion in the app through Me → Account Security → Delete Account. After verification, active authentication tokens and account-linked feature records are deleted or de-identified, except for limited records we must retain by law or for legitimate security and anti-fraud purposes. 7. Security

We use HTTPS in transit, one-way hashing for passwords and security PINs, access controls, and operational safeguards appropriate to the Service. No storage or transmission method is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. International processing

ChainSentry serves users across Southeast Asia. Information may be processed in a country or region different from where you live. Where required, we use contractual or other safeguards for international transfers.

9. Your choices and rights

You may browse core content as a guest, decline notifications, change language, edit saved monitoring, remove a bound public address where the feature permits, or delete your account. Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing, or withdraw consent. Contact [email protected] to make a request. We may need to verify your identity before acting on it.

10. Children

The Service is not directed to children. Account registration requires confirmation that the user is at least 18 years old. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate and delete it where appropriate.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the Service, our providers, or legal requirements change. We will publish the revised effective date on this page and provide additional notice where required.

自动处理的信息

3. 我们如何使用信息

4. 服务商与数据来源

5. 外部链接与公开区块链

精选资讯可能链接到第三方网站。当你离开链哨后，适用第三方的条款和隐私政策。如果你为实际提供的功能主动填写公开区块链地址，与该地址有关的活动可能永久记录在公开账本上。请勿向链哨或任何自称链哨代表的人提供私钥或助记词。

6. 保留与删除账号

账号有效期间，我们会保留账号和功能数据；账号结束后，仅在保障安全、解决争议、遵守法律和防止欺诈所合理必需的时间内保留。运维日志和备份会按我们的保留计划到期，但安全事件或法律另有要求的情况除外。

你可在 App 内通过我的 → 账号安全 → 删除账号请求永久删除账号。验证后，有效登录令牌和账号关联的功能记录将被删除或去标识化，但法律要求或出于合法安全与防欺诈目的必须保留的有限记录除外。你也可联系 [email protected]。

7. 安全

我们使用 HTTPS 传输、密码与安全密码单向哈希、访问控制以及与本服务相适应的运营保障。任何存储或传输方式都无法保证绝对安全。

8. 跨境处理

链哨面向东南亚用户提供服务。信息可能在你居住国家或地区之外处理。在法律要求时，我们会采取合同或其他跨境传输保障。

10. 未成年人

本服务不面向未成年人。注册账号时需确认年满 18 周岁。如果你认为有未成年人提供了个人信息，请联系我们，以便我们调查并在适当情况下删除。
